Brand identity, logo design, and key marketing materials
AC Plumbing & Heating Services appointed McQ Design to launch a revised name, brand, and visual identity. It needed to stand out in the crowded marketplace, be visually arresting, and translate comfortably across print and screen.
AC Plumbing & Heating Services has built an enviable client base and top ratings on Checkatrade through their expertise, dedication to customer satisfaction, and 17 years of hard work. They had clearly outgrown their brand identity which felt generic, was difficult to read and was inconsistently named and applied. They needed a refreshed brand identity to inspire and sustain trust and show off their true nature.
Our consultation meeting revealed that they needed to represent better the core services for which they were known – boiler installation and replacement, Gas Safety checks, and general plumbing. Whilst also reflecting a desire to attract more of the lucrative market of complete bathroom refurbishments and new installations.
We decided to retain a visual link with the previous brand, by keeping and tweaking the colour palette and made a decision that at the core of the new identity would be an ‘AC’ monogram. With the brand personalities of expertise, passion, professionalism, reliability, courtesy, workmanship, creativity, attention to detail, and tidiness foremost in our minds we got to work.
